Best Nicaraguan Food in Westchester, Miami-Dade County, FL

Stopped in on a Sunday after seeing great reviews with my boyfriend for a quick lunch. First off, this place is a tiny hole in the wall located in the same shopping center as El Floridita so you do have to keep an eye out for it and sometimes fight for parking if its busy. Service was immediately friendly once we entered and I was surprised by the small line of people that moved pretty quickly. Once it was our turn we asked for a menu which they didn't have----they only offer a couple hot prepared dishes they have out like other fritanga places but way smaller in choices. This was no issue at all and what I believe makes the quality of their food phenomenal! My boyfriend got the carne asada that looked and smelled so good it was hard to pass up for only $9.50. I went with the stewed lengua that had incredible flavors including capers, carrots, tomato, and onion for $9.00. Our meals were huge and completely worth the price since they come with a large helping of your choice of rice, cabbage salad, and a massive amount of home made plantain chips. I will definitely be back again when in need for a to-go or quick meal since service was fast and the food was incredibly delicious! I ordeed the a Completa Carne Asada with Queso Frito & Gallo pinto. Delicious as always but what made it even better was the service and how she made the Carne Asada on the spot. Maybe it was just made fresh for me and that doesn’t happened to everyone, but really appreciate the effort. And mind you this is a pick up and go kind of a place, but nonetheless…. The best Fritanga I’ve had in a long time. Thank you for the great service.
